Universal Peak & Qualitrol: Delivering TNB’s First Partial Discharge Monitoring System

We’re proud to have partnered with Qualitrol on Tenaga Nasional Berhad’s (TNB) first Partial Discharge Monitoring System (PDMS), successfully completed at PMU Prai GIS, Penang and commissioned in April 2024.

The PDMS is a cutting-edge system designed to detect partial discharges in gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). By identifying early signs of insulation failure, it helps ensure equipment reliability, extend asset lifespan, and minimize costly, unexpected outages.

What makes this project stand out:
