Retrofitting Works for Pilot Wire Protection Scheme Enhancement – KL & Selangor

On November 20, 2019, Universal Peak marked another important milestone by venturing into a new business area. We were entrusted by TNB Distribution with two secondary contracts to carry out retrofitting works on existing panelsin Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

The Project

The scope involved upgrading and enhancing the Pilot Wire Protection Scheme at Mainhead A & B across KL and Selangor, ensuring improved reliability and system protection for the distribution network.

The Achievement

This project not only strengthened the safety and efficiency of the network but also demonstrated Universal Peak’s ability to expand into new technical domains, further solidifying our role as a trusted partner to TNB.
